Candy Wong

Candy has been teaching English in since 2010. She has taught students from primary to secondary schools in small and large group settings. Using a combination of phonics, reading strategies and guided writing techniques, she has enhanced student’s comprehension of different text types and improved their writing skills. Having taught in Hong Kong, she knows the common difficulties of people learning English as a second language and have found ways to guide them through the obstacles they encounter.

Each student will have their own strength and weaknesses. As a teacher, it is important to accurately assess how each student is doing so we can figure out a way to help them improve. Candy believes in giving constructive feedback to her students to not only improve their grammar but also the content of their work. She wants to draw out the best in every student and help them develop a positive attitude in learning English and become self-reflective learners.
